Depression is marked by sadness and lack of hope. Our depression treatment first starts with helping you find the joy in your daily life. This involves the use of a gratitude practice and journaling. At Lotus Wellness Center, we use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which has been proven successful in treating anxiety and depression, as well as the use of Mindfulness to help you focus on the here and now will allow you to best identify joy.
Following your treatment for depression, you will feel revitalized and have mastered the skill of finding joy in your life daily. Sadness may feel like it will last forever, but it doesn't have to.
